Students
begin with basic pencil composition and design instruction to develop a
strong foundation, and then progress to watercolor
pencils. the series
finishes with watercolor painting techniques. Great for beginners or
refreshers. Bring a sketch book to the first class.
Other needed
materials will be discussed. Classes are held in the CAC workroom. This
class is open to all ages. In the past, many
couples and
multigenerational families have taken the class together.

Cost: $35 (members $30)
Peru
artist Sarah Luginbill returns to the CAC to instruct watercolor
painting for beginners and continuing painters. Participants will
follow
a step-by-step procedure to completion. Luginbill's own
watercolor works have won numerous awards and personal commissions.
Chosen from among Indiana artists, she is a Hoosier Salon winner. classes are held in the CAC art studio.

Summer Arts Academy: Artists of the world!
June 18 thru 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Instructor: Donna Ballinger
Held at Norwell High School
Tuition: $125 for non-members. Second child in the same family receives $20 off tuition. $7.50 supply fee per student.
The
Summer Arts Academy is an art-intensive daycamp for school-age
students. Each day, the students will focus on a different artist from
around the globe. Instructor Donna Ballinger is an arts educator,
special effects artist and decorating consultant who has provided the
inspiration for the academy since 1993. Students bring their own lunch
(refrigeration is available). Juice and snacks are provided at breaks.
Washable attire is recommended.
